For anyone that knows my channel, they know I almost never play Mario games. I feel the majority of the Mario games I've played are on the wrong side of irritating, where a lot of the deaths you have come out of nowhere more than not. The Mario series, with the exception of two games, Mario 3D World and Mario Odyssey, for anyone curious (no, I haven't played Mario Wonder yet). With that being said, this game is the right side of irritating, meaning it's difficult, but I never felt overly frustrated or that the game was being unfair. It's probably my favorite platformer of all time. It is, at the very least, my second favorite Wii U game. For anyone that's a fan of the DKC trilogy on the Snes, definitely give this game a try; you won't regret it.
